Illya is a real little character, always cheerful
and cheeky, mischievous and into everything. He is supremely confident
and outgoing, taking everything in his stride, and is a real show-off.
He made his show debut, qualifying for Cruft's 2009 at his very
first championship show with a 1st in the Dog Puppy class at just over 6
months of age. He is quite a handful to show as he finds it well nigh
impossible to keep all four feet on the ground, preferring to show
everyone just how very much he is enjoying himself. I hope his
attributes will continue to shine through, despite his inability to keep
still for more than a few seconds at a time!
He did in fact manage to keep still long enough to
take 3rd place in Junior Dog at Cruft's 2009, and at City of Birmingham
Championship Show in September 2009 he took Best Dog. Let's hope he
keeps performing as well as he did on that day!
On October 8th 2010 Illya won Post Graduate Dog at
South Wales Kennel Association Championship show under judge Les Aspin,
and was then placed Reserve Best Dog.
At the Cesky Club Open Show in August 2011 Illya
won the Limit Dog class, with his son Milo
taking 1st place in Puppy Dog and also Reserve Best Puppy in Show.
Illya's son Grancek Modré Mesicé (see his page)
has qualified for Cruft's 2012, as has Grancek Modry Mraz, owned by
Jayne Rusby. These two boys are from Illya's first
litter. Both have inherited their father's cheerful,
outgoing temperament, good mouth, and superb movement.
Illya has also produced a litter of 5 out of my Jana (G. Jitrenka),
who are just babies at present.
Illya is offered at stud to approved eye-tested
bitches only.
